As long as we are given 24 hours notice, there will be no cancellation fee. However if it is a late notice cancellation the cost is $150 plus GST.

Sometimes due to circumstances out of our control the reports end up in junk/ spam folders. Please make sure to check these folders if you haven’t received your report. Yes, you can attend the inspection. The agent does need to be aware that you will be present at the time if you are not the owner of the house. This is to make sure that the homeowners will not be there at the time of inspection. We always recommend coming towards the end of the inspection to allow the inspector to stay focused on the inspection process, and then he can speak on areas with you at the end.
Typically, the inspector will email you through the report. All our reports are written in a format that is easy to understand, even for first home buyers. But if you would like a brief on the report, you are able to contact the inspector. The inspectors details are in the report.
All our inspectors always endeavor to email you your report within 24hrs of the completion of the inspection, unless otherwise advised by your inspector.
Prices start from $645 inc gst. This price increases depending on the property size and if it is a multi unit property.

All our inspectors undergo our own in-house THISNZ inspection training which takes 3-4 months to complete. Then, they enter into applicant membership at the New Zealand Institute of Building Inspectors. NZIBI. The majority of our inspectors are current members of the NZIBI, or are in the process of completing qualifications. They also receive ongoing training in guidance with best building practice and any changes that happen in the industry.

An inspection aligned with NZS 4306:2005 involves a methodical, visual assessment of the following areas (where accessible)
